Petition to Deny the Permit Application ERP Permit: 47575.000 (App: 889588) for Development of Mitigation Bank and/or the Re-Development of the Tarpon Woods Golf Club and to Save Tarpon Woods www.SaveTarponWoods.com


We, the undersigned concerned citizens fully support the continued existence of a golf course and do hereby petition the Southwest Florida Water Management District to immediately deny ERP Permit: 47575.000 (App: 889588) permit application submitted by GreenSource Environmental Professionals, Inc. for the development of the Tarpon Woods Golf Club into a mitigation bank and/or residential development with other intentions, on the grounds that this development would permanently, irreversibly, and negatively impact the native wildlife population and ecosystem, surrounding communities, flood plain system, infrastructure, and property values.
