Petition to Deny the Permit Application ERP Permit: 47575.000 (App: 889588) for Development of Mitigation Bank and/or the Re-Development of the Tarpon Woods Golf Club and to Save Tarpon Woods www.SaveTarponWoods.com
We, the undersigned concerned citizens fully support the continued existence of a golf course and do
hereby petition the Southwest Florida Water Management District to immediately deny ERP Permit:
47575.000 (App: 889588) permit application submitted by GreenSource Environmental Professionals,
Inc. for the development of the Tarpon Woods Golf Club into a mitigation bank and/or residential
development with other intentions, on the grounds that this development would permanently,
irreversibly, and negatively impact the native wildlife population and ecosystem, surrounding
communities, flood plain system, infrastructure, and property values.

The District remains silent on our formal requests, but our momentum is forcing them to pay attention to these environmental concerns. Call the Southwest Florida Water Management District office today to demand they deny the permit. Send the petition link to three neighbors who live near the flood plain so they understand what is at stake.

PLEASE STOP THIS! We see bobcats and gators all the time back there. If they build it will destroy everything
This would be a travesty for this community and the wild life. I own a home just off the second hole . We already have increased water issues due to the retention ponds not being maintained and Brooker creek. There talking about filing them in...... it would be devastating to have no where for the run off to go. Please, protect our community. No building on this property.

My property value is gonna tank if they turn this into a swamp. We need the course kept up not turned into some project
