We, the undersigned, oppose the Montgomery County
Revenue Authority plans that would:
- install lighted mini-golf courses and a 60-70 stall driving range,
- reconfigure the golf course from a nine hole golf course to a pitch-and-putt \"Executive\" course,
- substantially increase traffic congestion and
decrease pedestrian safety, and
- add noise, trash, and impermeable surfaces that will further degrade Sligo Creek, Sligo Creek Park, and the Chesapeake Bay.
We support improvements to Sligo Creek Golf Course that:
- are both environmentally sustainable and fiscally responsible,
- exclude the addition of mini-golf or driving range facilities,
- are compatible with adjoining Sligo Creek Park and neighborhoods, and
- promote improving the environmental health of Sligo Creek and the Chesapeake Bay.
We are approaching the two hundred fifty signature benchmark required to trigger a formal review by the Montgomery County Revenue Authority. Please prioritize circulating this link to your local neighborhood lists before the next department briefing.

Please preserve our green space. This plan is just way too much development for such a small area.

The traffic on that road is already a disaster. Putting a driving range there will make it impossible for people to get home. horrible idea.

Keep the park green. We dont need loud mini golf and bright lights ruining the quiet nature area right in our backyard.

TOTAL NONSENSE. The creek is already struggling enough without more trash and noise pollution dumped right next to it.

Leave the course alone. My kids walk there all the time and it is perfectly fine as it is. stop trying to commercialize everything.
