We are the parents of the children enrolled in St. Michael's school in Camborne, Cornwall, UK. We are looking for signatures to help support us in keeping our school as it was. We chose the school for it's small class sizes, warm family atmosphere and nurturing, caring environment. We have children from all walks of life come to St. Michael's, including those who NEED a small school, children who would not thrive in a large environment. We have children who have been bullied, children with learning difficulties, children with health issues and children who just want to be taught in a small school enviroment. St. Michael's allows those children to flourish and fly high! St Michael's is now being sponsored by our local academy school, as it could not secure the funding it needed. Although we are very grafeful for the sponsorship and saving the school from certain closure, we want our sponsors to understand how passionate we are about our school and retaining it's ethos and values.We want our children to continue to be educated in St. Michael's premises. Wewant to retain our wonderful teachers and staff, we don't want to loose them.We want to keep all of the special qualities that St Michael's has and ask our sponsors to keep our school the way it is.

My son had been so serverly bullied at his old school since coming to St Michaels he's come on leaps and bounds and is now in a very good place because of St Michaels school don't shut down our children's school
After years of struggling with school and education my nephew has finally started to feel comfortable and progress since attending St Michaels. The closure of this school is going to have a big effect on him and other students who also suffer in a mainstream environment
Camborne needs the educational diversity. Not all children can cope with a school the size of CSIA & need smaller classes & a more nurturing environment, regardless of faith, they have needs CSIA will not be able to meet
We were hoping for our autistic son to go to st michaels in 18 months time because we were drawn to its smaller class sizes and positives we had heard, it would be terrible for it to change
My Son was in mainstream "education"; If he had been a school, like St. Michaels, I am sure that the teachers would have picked up on his blindness, instead of putting him at the back of the class and thinking he had ADHD! Stop thinking about saving money and try investing a little time and money in our future. It is a tried and tested formula.
This is a brilliant school, and the last thing it needs is to be ruined.

I chose st michaels for the class sizes . when my daughter is struggling with her work she gets noticed by all of her teachers, great atmosphere at the school.
