Stepping stones ( North Edinburgh) has been an essential service within North Edinburgh for over 30 years
Supporting young parents under 25, the many staff who have worked within Stepping Stones past and present have given their all to ensure young women and men have had the opportunity to get the support they desperately needed at their most vulnerable.
We need your help to Save Stepping Stones. All funding has been cut and this amazing service is going to be no longer. Stepping Stones is a fantastic support network for mothers fathers & children. Without them a lot of people are going to suffer. My aim with this petition is to take it to city chambers & secure funding to keep this amazing service going.

I have been reading the stories some of you are sharing in the comments and it breaks my heart to see how many families rely on this space. I am currently preparing the case to present at the city chambers because these services are far too vital to simply disappear.

Seeing this level of support reminds me exactly why this place saved my life when I had nowhere else to turn. Your compassion for these young families is overwhelming and it gives me real hope that we can keep the doors open.

Personally I havent been apart of stepping stones or used thier services but I know alot of people who have and hold them high up in thier opinions. Its sad to think that such a major support network to hundreds of people in need have had thier funding cut. The work they do is a life line to most folk who have used it and would be greatly missed!
I can't thank stepping stones enough for supporting, guiding and nurturing young mums, and their babies. Where will these young girls go if this service is cut? The staff do a valuable job, this isn't the area to save money Edinburgh district council , stop spending money on things 3dinburgh doesn't need, ie bus shelters that are not fit for purpose !!!
Stepping stones was a huge part of my life when I was just 21 with a 2 year old and new born, they helped me with loads of support and meeting other mums and kiddies made me feel like I wasnt alone stepping stones was a blessing for me and many others xxxxx
Stepping stones have helped me so much since becoming a mum at fifteen. I have gained not only qualifications but friends as well! It would be a massive loss to our commuinty.
Stepping Stones helped me out massively when I had my first daughter, 13 years ago. It would be a huge loss to the community as it provides a service that vital to young parents and families. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for the support I received at Stepping Stones

Stepping stone steped in my life when I was through the most difficult time of my life,supported me with emotional ,physical and psychological support. It will be so deverstating to see this great organization go.
