this has been here since a child, I was born and raised in Kannapolis and can always remember this when we would go shopping in Salisbury.I have lived in Salisbury for 9 years now and this is my landmark when looking for something.Nothing to do with racism, what will they want removed next!

It is a shame and very sad to see that so many things that mean so much to many people are being taken down or banned because all of a sudden it offends some people. I say, it's been there for over 100 years and it needs to stay

I grew up In Salisbury, graduated from NRHS (c/o 82). The statue is no more offensive or a sign of hate then a cross on a church.
