nothing about this statue promotes slavery or racism. It is a memorial to fallen soldiers. Our country has made many mistakes throughout history but you can't just "erase" history. As humans, we learn from our past and especially our mistakes but for no reason should we ever disrespect our soldiers.

. For pity sake, it has nothing to do with colar, it is History, it had nothing to do with the shootings in SC, it was a very stupid twit, with nothing better to do with his time. This statute was the first thing I noticed when I moved to Salisbury. An Angel holding up a soilder - how precious and moving to a newcomer. Please leave it where it is now.
