Without Stanton Band, there would be no pep rallies, they would be called sad rallies.

If the band program gets cut, then Stanton is no where near as prestigious as word says.

Stanton Band's traditional style of play was a driving force in the student body. Not only did it unite and energize the community. It also kept the students involved motivated, focused and out of trouble. I spent my high school years dedicated to this community and seeing this happen is absolutely disheartening. If the corps style is implemented, then the morale in the band, student body and faculty will diminish thus leading to students leaving the band program and potentially hurting student life.
Hopefully, that will not be the case.

Stanton is for the students, not autocratic and arbitrarily hired band directors that feel they have any authority to change a Stanton tradition.

Save the band. Changes must involve input from the students, not solely from administration or band director. This must be an inclusive task, not exclusive. My daughter Jaelyn works extremely hard to maintain straight A's, and puts forth that same effort to perform in Stanton's Marching Band. I must say as a parent and supporter am surprise by these recent events with this new director, Principal and Asst. Princpal. SCP is much better than this. Let's take a step back, and reconsider all options, not one's personal agenda.
