Keeping all thing in a position way, it's all about our kids, keeping it Tradition is what they want, They are the one that are in the Band. Let 's not change thing around. Let us work together and not against one another. Kid don't give up on what you want. Tradition!

My daughter graduated from Stanton and was a member of the marching band. I have always enjoyed the marching band at Stanton. The band was the main reason for attending the football games. Mr. Young worked hard with his students on their music. The band needs to keep to the tradition of the school.

Formerly known as Jacqueline Miller, c/o 2003. I was a banner girl and a majorette in the marching band. It has just broken my heart that this is even a topic of discussion. Please keep tradition and history a priority. Stanton marching band is both history and tradition.

Stanton don't be blindsighted, who founded the damn school? Black people. James weldon johnson & his brother were both genius musicians... epic things happened in Jax in the black community and its rich in diversity. TRY Teaching that in your mandatory curriculim (Core History Classes) maybe we'll understand more events that are happening 'current events'.

I loved being a member of the Stanton College Prep marching band. I love the tradition that Mr. Marcus Young passed on to us.

I don't attend Stanton, but I have a good amount of close friends that do and they talk a lot about how they love the band at Stanton and as someone who appreciates traditional, I understand that this change is disappointing. I've heard a lot of wonderful things about the band and one of the things that makes it so special is its traditional style. It would be a shame if it were to change.

The administration's ignorance towards this issue is appalling--they shouldn't be tampering with something larger than them
