Sister Maggi is amazing. We cannot lose her. She is the only one at St. Charles Borromeo who constantly makes you feel at home. We are praying like crazy for her to stay.

Sr. Maggi is amazing. I don't think SCB would be what it is, or my child would be who they are had she not served the role that she does. She helps our kids understand what integrity and hard work can do, she's not afraid to be honest and tell it like it is...and for that she has also helped me become a better parent. You don't get people like Sr. Maggi everyday it would be unfortunate if SCB were to really let her go. It's my son's last year but I would be remiss to say I wouldn't care because if she were to leave I feel as though it would be an injustice to the kids and parents that are currently part of the school, and the future ones to come.

I am not a SCB alumni, nor do I know Sr. Maggi. But my child DOES attend a Catholic School and I can't help but wonder why in the world a NUN would not be needed or wanted in a schools classrooms or halls!! From what I've read on this comment page, Sr. Maggi is greatly loved and respected by a large quantity of people. Something smells sour to me here...I can't imagine a school/Pastor in their right mind, terminating a nun who has put so much of her time and spirit into the school!!

Also, it's a bad call to be doing this the same year that the principles leaving. Borromeo is slowly becoming a school run by young moms, we need teacher like Sr Maggie that know every aspect of the school. If she leaves Borromeo will be upset

Don't understand why we wouldn't want her in the school. She keeps things going. Guarantee you if you replace her with someone younger, everything's going to go down hill. She is one of the most dedicated teachers I have seen at Borromeo. Why replace her with someone who has no experience compared to hers. Stupid if you think anyone wants her to leave. KEEP HER.

Sr. Maggi's love and dedication is a rare thing, which our children and grandchildren have experienced. She's also a wonderful human being, living out the ideals that the Church teaches. Our children need her for so many reasons.

When I first heard the news that Sr. Maggi was to be "let go" i thought why, why the person who has devoted so much of her life and time into it.This is definitely the wrong choice .I would hate to see Sr. Maggi leave now that i am almost finished with Borromeo and I know most of my peers would miss her as well.

Sr. Maggi is a positive and dedicated SCB role model and woman of our Catholic Faith. Her dedication to our children has been exemplary. It's very rare to find someone in the education system today to take such a personal interest in our kids and us as parents.

What has our church come too...when the head of our parish can diminish the importance of a fellow religious educator and leader, not only for our children but our church community too. This needs to be corrected and Sr. Maggi should stay where she belongs and is needed and loved!

As many others have said, Sr. Maggi IS St. Charles Borromeo. I can not imagine the school without her, and firmly believe that she is what keeps the school running so smoothly. Throughout my years at SCB, I watched as Sr. Maggi took on far more than ever was asked of her, and never hesitated to lend a hand to any staff member, student, or parent who was in need of a little extra help. She has gone above and beyond to make sure SCB fosters an ideal community for students and family members to grow, not only academically, but also spiritually and socially. She personifies the definition of a caring person, and to have such a person helping to run the school is invaluable. Over the years I have heard many positive things from the entire SCB community about Sr. Maggi, and in fact believe that without her influence at the school, some families may not even consider coming back to SCB. I have no doubt that without her, SCB would majorly change, and certainly not for the better.

SCB has been home to my family. I was a student, parishioner and teacher in my years at SCB. There were 3 teachers who immensely impacted my life. My mom, Mary Jane Leonhard, Sr. Maggi and Mr. Di. Two of these teachers have been "let go" after years of dedicated and inspiring service, all at the hands of a lousy administration and pastoral staff for the sake of money. I will always consider Sr. Maggi my mentor into the teaching profession. In my years teaching at SCB, I learned so much from her wit and wisdom. It makes my heart hurt to see what's happening to these people and to a place I love and cherish so much. This is such a sad reflection of the Catholic church and its values.

Sr. Maggi is someone who I have always looked up to and will never forget. She belongs in a place where she can spread her love and religious values on to younger generations, and help make our community a better place. Anyone who cannot see the light in this woman is not looking, and I hope that others will stand up for what's right.

I had Sister Maggi for 3 years of my time at Borromeo, and not only did she shape me to the student I am today but she helped me become the person I am. It would be horrible to see her go.
