Sr. Maggi has been a great benefactor in encouraging the students to work their hardest and live up to their potentials. With the new principal, this is the time that we need Sr. Maggi the most. We need someone who knows the school inside and out.

Sr. Maggi was instrumentally helpful to me, a capable but unmotivated student, in a very dark time in my life. I lived in a painful and disruptive household, had just transitioned to SCB, and was acting out and not performing up to my academic potential. With her interest, perseverance, and kindness, Sr. Maggi helped motivate me to elevate my performance at school beyond my prior standards of achievement, and gave me a feeling of security in my time of need. Because of Sr. Maggi, I did not feel alone. She is a treasured educator, a friend, a confidante, and a kind and just human being. It would be an intolerable loss to the community of SCB to see her leave when she still has time to serve others in her particularly patient and lovely manner. Please reconsider the elimination of her position; she has been a positive influence to so many, and can still be for so many more. Sincerely, Lauren Hill

As you can see from my name, I am a member of Sister Maggi's family. I am one of her six siblings. Although I have not lived in St. Louis for many years, I am acutely aware of the deep, abiding connection that my little sister Maggi has had to St. Charles Borromeo School from her very earliest days there. She has truly been more than dedicated to the Catholic education and welfare of each and every one of her students. She is a devoted, committed, loving, giving woman ---- just ask MY children and grandchildren. When she comes to visit us, she loves nothing more than spending time with my "grands," teaching them life lessons AND math lessons through various activities. It will be a sad day indeed if she has to leave the school to which she has given so much of herself.

I pray Fr. John reconsiders this decision. My nieces, Maggie and Gracie James, attend St. Charles Borromeo school and they love Sr. Maggi. We need our nuns to be in our schools for their example of their vocation to God.

I am in complete Shock of this news and my heart is saddened! Sr Maggie is THE reason I chose to have my son attend SCB!!! I was searching for a Kindergarten and school we could call Home w/o feeling lost with numerous students. Sr Maggie showed us such care and Love for the students and the school when she gave us our tour - there was No Doubt in my mind that I needed to find a way to have my son attend. She is a calming constant that shows much love and care for everyone! Im sad to say, though I /we love Borromeo, If Sr. Maggie is not there, it could be a deal breaker for us. PLEASE PLEASE Keep Sr Maggie!! She IS a Wonderful and Amazing ASSET to Borromeo!

I am proud to say that Sister Maggi taught me over 30 years ago and has now been involved in all 4 of my kids education. I have a lot of great memories with Sister Maggi that will always be part of me no matter where she goes. I am thankful those cannot be taken from me. I would love to see her continue on in my kids lives. The comments I have read here and the signatures that keep piling up speak LOUD AND CLEAR!!

Sr. Maggi was my favorite teacher when I was at Borromeo and she is the reason that I love math so much. I am so blessed that my son goes to Borromeo now and that he has gotten to know Sr. Maggi. She absolutely loves the students up there and Borromeo would not be the same without her. Borromeo needs Sr. Maggi!
