I don't know all the facts about what is going on only the rumors spreading around. But what I do know is that there are much better ways to handle things.

I have been at SCB for 9 years and this year I am graduating. Sister Maggi has always been there for me every step of the way since kinder garden. It would be a shame to not allow future kids at SCB to be able to have the guidance and support Sister Maggi brings to every one. She has always been there for me and my family and the whole school and parish. It is terrible for her service to be disregarded in this way. I hope she gets to stay it would make SCB a whole different place without the loving Sister Maggi.

It is important to let parents and parishioners know the business plan for the school, as we are the customers and in a sense owners. Without our support there is no parish or school.

NO RESPECT!! Over 30 years dedicated to St Charles Borromeoby a valued member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame and you do not renew Sr Maggi's contract?! No way should this have ever happened! SCB's loss is a gain for another school. Shame on you, Fr. John, for not finding a way to keep a valued educator such as Sr. Maggi at Borromeo. I hope the parents of current students rise up and let your voices be heard.

Sr. Maggi was one of my former teachers. She made such an impact on me as she has on hundreds of other children. She is truly a woman of God and a wonderful educator. She's an asset to St Charles Borromeo Church and School, a blessing!!

Sr. Maggi is a beautiful soul, indeed much of the heart and soul of Borromeo itself. This decision was made in poor judgement, and will only alienate those who truly know her and all she does for the school. This breaks my heart and I hope somehow those that have the power to make these decisions recognize their mistake before it is too late.
All of the work that the children (and parents) are asked to do in the weekly Liturgy books-- spreading live and kindness, write about ways in which you can impact your family and community in positive ways, talk about how you can spread God's love and unconditional acceptance-- that IS Sr. Maggi. This decision was most likely made based on petty political and personal bases. Interesting that it was not announced until AFTER families filled out and paid re-enrollment fees, as I have a feeling at least a few families will be saying goodbye to Borromeo if the heart and soul of Borromeo is gone.

Sister Maggi was one of my favorite teachers I have had at any level of education. She is the heart and soul of St. Charles Borromeo and I think it would be a mistake to move on without her.

Sr Maggi needs to stay to help bridge the new principal with the students, staff and parents. She has been and will continue to be a true asset to the St Charles Borromeo family. She has instilled her talent of teaching to the students and been a true benefactor for the Catholic religion. Sr. Maggi is a true disciple of Jesus and it is through her so many have benefitted.
