When my mom told me that sister maggi was told her contract wouldn't be renewed; it took me a long time to process what she said. I can't imagine the school without sister maggi she does so much for everyone. The teachers, the children, the staff the visitors, sister really is everything Borromeo is representative of. Please reconsider this decision please let her stay and be part of our community Borromeo can't lose this teacher and friend. She is truly beloved. Abbie

She may of put my name on the board, but without her teaching and tutoring I wouldn't be where I am today.

My family and I could not possibly put into words the amount of love, support, adoration and respect we have for Sister Maggi. She has touched our lives since the day Abbie started Kindergarten, all those years ago. Because of her and her support we were able to achieve great things for our girls, maintain sanity during the hardest struggles of our lives and continue our faith journey without fail. We love Sister Maggi, as does so many families; it is our opinion that Borromeo is doing themselves a huge injustice by letting go a person of such great faith and conviction and the only Nun left on our campus. Save Sister Maggi, we pray our Lord!

In a day and age when the presence of nuns are almost unseen in Catholic schools, it's a great gift to have one at SCB! I echo the previous comment of all the documented things Sr. Maggie does for the school. There is also a huge list of undocumented things she does for the school. Let's face it, Sr. Maggie has no kids of her own, she loves our kids while they are at SCB! She glories in their successes, and feels their failures when she knows they tried their best! Are you really going to take "our" kids away from her?

Our high school just recognized 7 seniors for being 4.0 students. 4 were from SCB! Sr. Maggi is an integral part of how our school functions in both academics and moral/spiritual growth. We CANNOT lose such a vital resource!

With sisters being few and far between, and the many gifts and talents they posses, I would think that Borromeo would think twice when it comes to dismissing Sr. Maggi. Her resume speaks volumes when it comes to the many jobs she is capable of doing. With a new principle coming on board next year it would be in the schools best interest to have someone who is able to help in so many areas of administration. Sr. Maggi also gives the girls of Borromeo a chance to observe a woman in a traditional role long lived within the church.
