With sisters being few and far between, and the many gifts and talents they posses, I would think that Borromeo would think twice when it comes to dismissing Sr. Maggi. Her resume speaks volumes when it comes to the many jobs she is capable of doing. With a new principle coming on board next year it would be in the schools best interest to have someone who is able to help in so many areas of administration. Sr. Maggi also gives the girls of Borromeo a chance to observe a woman in a traditional role long lived within the church.

Sr. Maggi is so much more than her title or job description. She is an amazing mentor, faith leader and friend, to all in the St. Charles Borromeo School and Parish community. The presence of having a member of a religious community really was a plus in sending our daughters to SCB. Sr. Maggi will be vital to the transition as the principals change this next year. I hope that the best interest of the school and children is being considered over finance. Sr. Maggi is an ambassador for SCB, she is responsible for bringing so many students to our school. Please reconsider. Her dedication is proven. God will provide for the school. We need to do the right thing for her and our school.

I had Sr. Maggi for three years in middle school and she was a great math teacher. I definitely learned a lot from her and appreciated everything she taught me in and out of the classroom. Sr. Maggi is an important part of Borromeo. She is so dedicated to the school and the parish. Borromeo is still my home parish, even after I've gone away to college. It would be such a shame to eliminate someone who is so dedicated to Borromeo's mission and to the faculty and students.

She worked with me to make sure I had the tools I needed to face high school and the road ahead! Please reconsider her position with the school- it is vital to the school community!
