I had Sr. Maggi as a teacher for three years and she was honestly the worst teacher I've ever had. She did not teach. She was rude and disrespectful to students. If I tried to ask a question I would always be answered with a "Ask another student." or "Go look it up." Her job was to teach her class math, and she failed miserably. My other math teachers from borromeo were great, but Sr. Maggi ruined math for me and is the reason I'm so far behind in math today. I am a senior in high school this year and still am affected by Sr. Maggi's terrible teaching. Obviously, none of these people that are commenting saying she is an essential part of Borromeo has had her as a teacher. A teacher is supposed to be kind, and helpful to students, but Sr. Maggi was the complete opposite. She does not deserve the position she has and the school would be greatly improved if she was let go.

Sr Maggi is St Charles Borromeo School. I met her 32 years ago when I became a new member of the parish. She was one of several School Sisters of Notre Dame at that time who lived in what is now the rectory. She has been the only School Sister of Notre Dame at our parish for a number of years. And for that, WE have been truly blessed. She impressed me 32 years ago, as she has through out her time at our school I knew my children would be in good hands when they attended St Charles Borromeo because Sr. Maggi was there, and I was right. She has dedicated herself to making the school what it is today. I saw first hand her many hours spent at the school before and after hours, all because of her dedication to the school and students. Sr. Maggi wants to stay, should stay, and I totally support this as we all should!

Sr. Maggi did so much for me and helped me through everything. I always knew she would be there for me when I needed her. She was one of the most influential people in my life at one point. She has helped so many kids and continues to do so after 32 years. No one will be able to do everything she did for that school.

When I think of SCB, I think of Sr. Maggie. She has been an integral role for the school and church through the years. SCB is blessed to have a nun as part of their community. Please pray for God's plan for Sr. Maggi and SCB.

Seriously, you would consider removing her from the school? So what are our priorities?
Maybe we should TRY to pay someone to do all that she does. Not so easy..... no amount of money can pay for that kind of dedication and love.

Sr. Maggie is involved in every child's life at Borromeo. She certainly had an influence on my two children in the 9 years they were with her. She took care of problems other teachers sent her way and forged better relationships with the students and parents because of her dedication. She is who we will remember when we think of our Catholic school nuns. You can't replace someone like her!

Sister Maggi is the best! She has done a great job mentoring and teaching both our girls. We just adore her, and she is one of the most approachable staff members at the school.
How about a fundraiser or raising our tuition a bit? The school just wouldn't be the same without her presence.

Mary Ellen: Sr Maggi would come to our home to teach math. I know those blue Irish singing eyes are the eyes of a a person dedicated to God and His teachings. The Rockies stand behind Sr Maggi 100% strong.

Our family does not agree with the decision to not renew Sr. Maggie. It is a shame this is the route that the church administration chose to take and it should be reversed. Sr. Maggie is an asset to the school, the students and the families enrolled.
