the council officially reversed the decision and the airshow is back on. im honestly still in shock that we pulled this off but thank you for sticking with me through all of it. we should keep an eye on things just to be sure but for now lets celebrate.

Been going since I was a lad. Sad to see it finished like this.
My kids look forward to this every single year. Please dont take away such a great tradition for the town.
This is rediculous. The airshow is the only reason so many people come down here in the summer. Think about the local shops for once.
Can we not get some private sponsors instead of just binning the whole thing? Seems like a lazy decision.
SOUTHEND WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT IT!! KEEP IT GOING.

130k is nothing compared to the revenue brought in by tourists. Council is crazy.
