This is loss of community facilities against rising residential development in the area without the required infrastructure and community facilities to support such development.

Shenfield Cricket Club is at the heart of our community. It provides a friendly welcome for all ages. A lovely venue for getting involved in sports, for children to grow in confidence & learn to respect others & socialise within a family environment.

Brentwood Council looking for another revenue opportunity by destroying local and well supported community sport. Take a bow BBC...you really are a disgrace.

Leave the cricket fields and car park alone. It’s a fantastic club!!

It's vitally important that Shenfield CC remains an integral part of the community supporting youngsters and giving leisure opportunities to everyone on the area

Save our “heart of the community” cricket club - it needs this vital revenue from the car park to help keep it afloat as there is no outstanding funding.

This club has been a great place not only for children /adults to play cricket but also for siblings & parents to get-together.

Disgraceful action by councils under the guise of health and safety. They should be working with communities not against.

Happy to support the cause. Being a member of Harold Wood CC, I have played many a game at Shenfield and always made to feel welcome. Keep up the fight and good luck.

Disgusting that a council will sacrifice a very popular club, all the opportunities it provides, and its ties to the local community and schools for the sake of a greedy money grab.

Dont take away another part of another community. Life revolves around places like this and we must stop taking pub n clubs away from villages
