We need to save shenfield cricket club my sons have been playing here for about 15 years it is an amazing club with great facilities not only teaching children from 6 years old including my grandson but teaches respect of others and their property and excellent social skills this cannot possibly be closed down it would be an absolute travesty where are our children supposed to learn and develop

Shame on you Brentwood Council for even thinking of closing down Shenfield Cricket Club. You will loose YOUR support in the community if you take away what is a major part of OUR community. The cricket club has been in existence since the 1920's and has and continues to provide a wonderful sporting facility for children of the area as well as fostering a fantastic community spirit amongst children and parents alike. Why would you want to take that away? Surely there must be some other land that is not being currently used that you could use? Instead you seem intent on taking away something that is so valuable and beneficial to our children.

Given the Government's stance on promoting health and fitness it seems ludicrous and totally lacking in logic for Brentwood Council to even contemplate such action

We are shock after reading this mu eight yaer voy will get upset if shenfield cricket ckub gets closed he plays the cricket since he was 5...council cant snatch kids play which they like a lot.

This club forms a valuable part of the community and encourages physical activity for all age groups in a society where this is becoming less and less available. This club is a vital part of many people in the communities lives both socially and for the sporting aspect #SaveSCC

This club is in the heart of a community - it is well supported and well loved. My kids have spent many a fabulous hour here as have us parents. The club keeps the kids active and off the streets in a safe environment. It is a disgrace to try and take our car park and as a result threaten the very exsistence of the club. Rethink your intentions!

If you have been at the club on a Friday night and seen a field full of children playing cricket and enjoying outside activity it is amazing, to lose this would be an utter disgrace!
