On May 24, Scott County Hospital is set to be closed unless a solution is found. There is a group of local physicians along with other health care professionals that have a hospital take over plan. This proposal at its very worst will allow at least parts of the hospital to stay open providing the community with the care that it deserves. The meeting on this proposal is scheduled to be voted on May 21, 2012 at 6:00 pm est at the Scott County Office Building.

THIS IS OUR TOWN!! we cant let them shut it down without a fight. keep the doors open.
my elderly mother relies on that facility for her meds and checkups. losing it would be a disaster for us.
KEEP IT OPEN. no excuses.
my kids were both born there. so many memories and it serves this community well. save our hospital.
Total incompetence by the local board. Fix it and keep the doctors we have here!

We need this hospital. What are people gonna do in an emergency if they have to drive 45 mins away? ridiculous.
