The Science Center of Petnica (PSC) is one of the few educational institutions that support the development of science in Serbia. PSC is also one of the rare places located in the South East Europe where teenagers and young adults from Serbia and every other part of the world can improve their knowledge of science. It has changed the lifes of many people around the globe, and it can change the lifes of many more. Because of some reductions of the country's national budget, most of the funds ment for PSC are being cut. To make the world a better place and improve the future of thousands of young science enthusiasts, it is imortant to support PSC, and find the necessary funds. Please support!

One hundred people have signed on to keep this place alive and it feels like a small light in a very dark week. The budget cuts are still hanging over us but knowing I am not fighting for this center alone helps me keep moving.

I speak from personal experience when I say that the PSC is worth saving. Even though I've only spent just under a week there, that time felt like an entire lifetime.
Science and research are important for the advancement of humanity. Please do not allow our future scientists to lose resources. Science creates a better quality of life for everyone, it should be encouraged. Serbia is full of intelligent aspiring scientists that are willing to work together to create a brighter future!!
As a former member of PSC, now a Computer Science undergraduate at University of Cambridge, I can vouch for the great quality of its programmes and its importance in popularising science among young people.
Ovo je sramota za Srbiju ako se ovakva institucija zatvori. Vi se nadate boljitku drzave stalno a boljitak je moguc samo sa obrazovanim mladim ljudima, a bez mjesta koja pomazu tome, tesko da moze biti napretka...
PSC is the place for people like me: young people who like to discover new things, view science from different angles, hear other people's opinions on multiple subjects and want to be heard. Many young people deserve a chanse to be a part of this amazing institution wich I am a part of too.

Istraživačka Stanica Petnica je iznedrila jedne od najboljih naučnih kadrova Srbije i doprinela razvoju interesovanja za nauku kod mnogih mladih ljudi. Takav vid instuticije se ne sme zatvoriti!
