The International Ceramics Studio is one of Europe's longest running ceramic centers and one of the world's most famous.

"To our Supporters,

Although the independence of our institution has currently been lost; partly thanks to your widespread promotion, our collection seems to have been granted security. This also gives us hope that in a renewed and calmed political climate, the studio may be able to resume its work- as you have know it. If this happens, I will be there to support the institution with all my experience. However, now, I had to step down in order to authenticate everything that we have done so far.

Dear colleagues, friends, and citizens who serve and respect the arts in our country and in the World: thank you very much for raising your voices for the preservation of the existence and independence of the International Ceramics Studio and the future of its collection. 

I would like to thank everyone- the young and old- the artists- may of them world famous- professors, students, collectors, writers- everybody who thought our existence and work is important. I would like to thank you myself and in my staff's name for standing up for us.

I am hoping we have played an important part in your life during our 38 years as a conduit of ideas and as educators of Hungarian and international ceramic culture and art. I hope we can persevere so that we can provide future generations with the same opportunity."

"Mindazoknak, akit illett!

Bár függetlenségünk jelenleg elveszett, de gyüjteményünk a széleskörü figyelemnek is köszönve védettnek tünik. Ez reményt ad arra is, hogy egy megujjuló, megnyugodott társadalmi környezetben a tevékenységünk az eddig megismert formában folytatódhat, és akkor én is segiteni fogom minden tapasztalatommal. Meg kell értenetek, most fel kellett állnom, hogy hitelesítsem mindazt, amit eddig tettünk.

Köszönet minden tisztelt kollegának, barátaimnak, a müvészetet szolgáló és becsülő polgárainak hazánknak és a világnak, akik felemelték szavukat a NKS függetlenségének, létének és gyüjteményének megőrzése mellett. Köszönöm a müvészeknek, köztük számos világhires művésznek, egyetemek professzorainak, diákoknak, gyüjtőknek, íroknak, fiataloknak és öregeknek és mindazoknak, akik számára létünk és munkánk fontosnak itéltetett. Köszönöm munkatársaim és a magam nevében a kiállásotokat mellettünk.

Bizva remélem, hogy az eddigi 38 éves tevékenységünk, amely szakmai területünkön a magyar és az egyetemes müvészet, a kultúra értékeinek el - és megismertetését is szolgálta, nem csak számotokra hanem a jövő nemzedéke számára is folytatódik.

Édesapám megbizásából, teszem közzé a hozzám eljuttatott köszönetét mindenki felé, akik az Nemzetközi Kerámia Studió védelmében az interneten megjelentetett peticióhoz csatlakozott. A peticiót nem az NKS kezdeményezte és rakta fel, hanem valaki közületek. Támogatásotoknál szebb elismerést egy élet munkájáért nem kaphatott volna ezekben a nehéz idökben.
