I, the below signed individual, strongly oppose the proposed sand mining of Sandy Creek. I oppose the increased traffic hazards caused by the commercial trucks entering State Hwy 71. I oppose the detrimental impact on the quantity and quality of water on Sandy Creek. I oppose the detrimental impact on the area’s quality of life due to the introduction of a large scale industrial and mining facility. I support the community efforts to prevent the Collier Sand Mine facility from operating on Sandy Creek.

I spent the entire morning staring at the maps of the creek and honestly it feels like they are just waiting for us to get tired or bored or distracted by something else. The local news finally reached out for a comment which is wild because I have been emailing them for weeks now but I am still trying to figure out how to explain the whole truck traffic nightmare without sounding like a total maniac.

I have a house on "Sandy Creek Cove". It is unreasonable to allow Collier to steal from me to line his pockets! I, and many others, will loose a significant amount in property value, let alone intrinsic value, if this sand mining operation is approved.
I WAS going to purchase my dream home, in Sunrise Village, on Sandy Mountain Dr., but have backed out of the deal, before signing purchase documents. If I am only one of many who decide to buy elsewhere, think of how this will affect the community? This is just awful!
No, no, no! Allergy sufferer. I also used inheritance $ to buy our place in the Texas hill country.....heaven. Unsightly plants...like the one on Hwy. 29 "greet" folks after looking at the beautiful scenery. Trucks pull out in front of you and go slowly. There have been too many accidents on Hwy. 71. Don't put it in.
NO sand mine and rock crusher on Sandy Creek. This would be detrimental to the water table for the small rancher to water their cattle that rely on the water this massive plant will duck the water table dry. I oppose this sand mine rock crushing plant.
The damage this project will have on 150-plus years of ranching, the communities surrounding the site, the highways accessing the site, the wildlife that relies on the creek, and the water supply for millions of users of the LCRA-managed Highland Lakes depends upon this project's dissolution. Thank you very much.
Sandy Creek is a place that holds a special place in my heart. I have spent countless hours admiring the wildlife and spending time with my family-- I DO NOT want to lose this slice of Texas to the Collier Sand pit.
I sincerely believe the Sandy Creek Sand mine would ruin this beautiful area. We are full time residents and moved here specifically moved here because of the beauty of the place. Please don’t allow this travesty to the area take place. Collier has done enough damage to last a lifetime. The flood that happened on Oct 16, 2018 is proof enough of Colliers’ greed

strongly oppose this plant. I think iI am the closest house and have a 2yr old and a 5 yr old that will be breathing this air and drinking this water their whole life. Their future is in the hand of these agencies . Thank You
