Seeing this level of support reminds me why we started this fight despite the long hours and the constant meetings. It is exhausting to keep pushing against the park district but your belief in this program gives me the fuel to keep going.

My boys grew up playing here. So many memories at these fields. You cant just take this away from the kids.
50 years!! That is a legacy. Do not shut this down over a contract dispute.
Ridiculous. Let the kids play ball! Stop the politics and think about the community for once.
PLEASE keep this going. Baseball is all my son looks forward to in the summer.
The park district is being greedy. Dont let them ruin a 50 year tradition because they want more money.

so sad to see this happen to such a great program. really hope they can work it out so the season isnt ruined.
