As an employee in ridgewood I can say how much more lucrative it’s been having more outdoor space, and how all of the guests that come to eat in ridgewood love sitting outside. It brings in a lot of business from surrounding towns. There’s a huge parking garage that always has space, don’t punish the small restaurants that only take up 4 parking spots please!! Some of our livelihoods depend on it.

I love outdoor dining! The restaurants in Ridgewood are always very busy with limited seating in some so it’s nice to be able to sit outside!

It might be the only thing keeping, what is left of downtown, afloat.

Making outdoor dining permanent so our small businesses can invest in better setups would be a great win for them and for residents.

Outdoor dining has drawn me and others to stay with Ridgewood restaurants when we’d be out looking for a worthwhile alternative. This has undoubtedly kept some from shutting their doors during theses recent financially difficult times. Please seek ways to help them remain profitable, rather than restricting fair commerce.

Outdoor dining was the best last year - would love to continue it!
