We as parents and community members want our beloved principal to remain where he is, at OCE. Making this petition short and sweet since my last one “flagged” someone is attempting to shut up the parents and community members
I just refreshed the page and saw five hundred signatures which is honestly wild since I was worried nobody would even care (or that they would try to block us again) but here we are. It is such a load off my mind to see that other people really do feel the same way about keeping Principal Bynum because sometimes I feel like I am just shouting into the void.

Mr. Bynum was my 6th grade gym coach and was the best mentor for a young man going thru a change of school and split family. He’s had become a beloved principal and now is the principal my nephews and my niece. He’s is a model of what a leader and educator should be

Bynum is instrumental in our local community. He brings in local OC high schoolers to grade science fair, help with science nights, etc. He's not just wishing for the elementary school, but also for the surrounding schools and it takes time to build that type of network. Don't pull the plug.

My niece just started her teaching career at Orange City. She did so because of Mr. Bynum and her wonderful 2nd grade team. Please keep him at OC so she can continue her growth and love for teaching. Don’t let her get discouraged due to the politics of the school board.

I hate that VCS does this. A school gets a great leader, they build a community and improve the school then they move them. It's garbage. Maybe if the district left their people in place the school's would have more stability and be less likely to backslide!!

We love Mr Bynum and he's a huge reason why my daughter goes to Orange City Elementary. We live closer to Manatee Cove, but Mr Bynum has done so many wonderful things for that school. We love his positive attitude and how involved he is with each and every kid.

my grandson Colby has attended this school for the last 3 years . He was petrified at first but now looks forward to see Mr. Bynum greet everyone in the morning. He has been a big asset to this school and all will hate to loose him! " if it aint broke then why try to fix it!"
