Final supporters
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to help save Pat Lewis's job; the leader of Banstead Youth Club who has been working here for 38 years and helped make the better out of the children in the Banstead area. Pat deservingly achieved her MBE status through her sheer hard work and contribution to the local centre and unfortunately is being moved to another centre in Surrey. She has influenced the lives of so many young people and changed the youth centre in a variety of positive ways. She has kept kids out of hanging around on the streets and given them a place to go. Without Pat at Banstead Youth Club we will not be able to keep it open and run it as well as she has done, her work is truly invaluable. So please help!!

Pat has done an amazing job & is very well respected in the Banstead community , it would be a huge lose should the Youth Club close. I attended the club over 30 years ago & my children are now members / youth worker. It would be tragic should it close.
Amazing achievement from an amazing woman and if I remember rightly a force to be reckoned with ;-) ... After 38yrs surely Pat should choose? Seems like she's done the time! Thanks for the discos, pool and open ear :-D kindness lasts for eternity x
I absolutely love pat! She done so much for me when I was younger and in school with the troubles I was having at home. She got through to me when no one else could and was always there to listen to when I needed her! She is an absolutely amazing and inspirational woman!
Pat has run one of the most successful youth clubs in Surrey. She devotes so much time to the young people of the area, it would be an absolute travisty if she was to be moved from Banstead, and would be a significant loss to the Banstead community
Pat was running the youth club, when I was a kid. I went on a brilliant youth centre trip, abseiling, rock climbing, pot holing, canoeing, with her and the other leaders when I was 12. A great memory. My 11 year old son is now a member at Biz at the centre. He loves it.

I would definitely not be the person I am today without the amazing work of Pat and Banstead Youth Centre. It would be a terrible loss to remove this invaluable resource from the community. Shame on you Surrey County Council.
