The volunteer members of the LHAHOA Board have done a great job but, if the facts presented represent the entire issue, I agree with the other peitioners regarding suing over a treehouse.

The LHA Board should drop this case. It is a waste of LHA revenues. We should be spending our time and energy on improving our neighborhood, not alienating neighbors.

Shame on those mean spirited individuals who have nothing to do but to be mean spirited against the children in the neighbourhood! Who are these people who have nothing better to fill their lives than to be petty minded! Is it some embittered memory of a wrong that was done to them in the past that makes them do such things to children and their loving parents?? I remember when my father built a treehouse for me and how I loved him for it. My treehouse was our little kingdom that mysefl and my sisters shared with our friends. It gave us the belief that we had a somewhere where we could be independent of our parents and plan all sorts of adventures, etc. How sad that some people int his life have nothing better to do than to crush the dreams and aspirations of the children of today!

I have not seen the treehouse in question. That said, if it is tasteful and well constructed and implemented within the constructs of the neighborhood rules, why wouldn't we support this activity?? A family friendly, appealing and beautiful neighborhood is exactly why I bought my house here in 1999.

Drop the lawsuit against our neighbors. They are within their rights and you are wasting our money on legal fees. Pick your battles. This is pointless and actually works against the interests of the neighborhood.

i support my neighbour keeping their treehouse as it does appear to violate any laws and it not a nuisance but a lovely family activity.
