Final supporters
Westminster Adult Education Service plans to drastically cut our Glass, Ceramics, Jewellery and Visual Art technicians - thereby reducing the quality of service and support provided to us, the students! Our technicians are the bedrock of our departments, without them a poor quality of service will be provided, if at all. We will be paying for our creative courses (more in some cases) and receiving much less! Think of the implications it will have on our making, alongside our safe working environment -without our technicians, who are also First-Aiders and Fire Marshels. Please help us to preserve the quality of our creative learning experience by signing this petition.

The administration can no longer ignore the scale of this opposition to the proposed staffing cuts. I am currently finalizing a formal letter to the board of governors to ensure we are on their agenda for the upcoming session.

total nightmare. how are we supposed to work in the studio without proper supervision and health and safety support?
keep the technicians. they are essential to WAES and we would be lost without them handling the equipment.
Dont cut these roles! They make the whole place run.
My jewellery class would be impossible without the help. please reconsider this.
WHAT ARE THEY THINKING. You cant teach ceramics without the techs there to keep the kilns running. save these jobs!

Ridiculous decision. The tech team is the only reason those studios stay running safely. We need them.
