The school board has officially rescinded the notice and Billy Hartwick will remain as our principal. I appreciate the time each of you took to support our school leadership through this process. We will remain vigilant to ensure that the progress we have made together continues.

We, The Parents , Grandparents , and Friends of Pine Grove Elementary School petition to the Del Norte Unified School District Superintendent and School Board to rescind Bill Hartwick’s pink slip and keep him as Principal at Pine Grove.
Billy Hartwick is dedicated in providing the best learning experience for each child at Pine Grove. He is supportive and passionate about education. He goes above and beyond for the kids, families, and School We stand behind Billy Hartwick and are compelled to show our support by signing this petition.

I am currently coordinating with district representatives to ensure these perspectives are formally brought to the attention of the school board. Please keep him on. He was a wonderful principle to all four of our children through the years. Always willing to help in anyway he could. He listens and helped with my sons IEP. Love him. No one deserves to loose a job over one parents issues. If he hasn’t done anything illegal or against policy. No reason to pink slip him
Mr. Hartwick is one of the most stand up men ive had the pleasure to meet . His stance on bullying is why im in support of Mr. Hartwick ,his drive , and good heartedness belongs in our schools and serves as the perfect balance . I support bill hartwick 110%
I see mr. hartwick outside every morning greeting kids and parents. He calls my son by his name, and even opens the car door for him sometimes, just to help him out, and to say hi to me. He's a good one!
This man went above and beyond for my family the moment he found out our home burnt down he greets my kids every single morning and makes sure my baby's are ok he's one of the best principal's we have in the school district .
Mr. Hartwick literally turned my kids lives around. He is the best principal I have ever known in my 35 years of having kids and grandkids in the school system. Please keep him where he is needed , at Pine Grove.

I had the pleasure and honor to work Bill Hartwick, and his one of finest administrators this district has ever had. He is extremely supportive of both teachers. He is an excellent curriculum leader. To loose Mr Hartwick would a huge blow to this community.
