The council just confirmed that Great Creaton Primary School will stay open. You stopped this closure by staying loud and refusing to back down. Keep a close eye on the school board minutes for the next few months to ensure they follow through on this commitment.
Great Creaton Primary School, Northamptonshire needs your help. Please help keep our amazing little primary school open. We all love it and it will be a devastating loss to the staff, children, parents and the local community. Not only that if it closes we will be leaving our lovely pre school with no where to go. Please sign and show your support so we can prove to the council that we should remain open.
The response to this campaign proves our community refuses to let this school disappear. Post the link to your Facebook feed right now and email our local council representatives to demand they keep our doors open.

We need to hit the one hundred signature mark before we deliver our opening statement to the council. Post this link on your Facebook page right now to help us clear this hurdle. Text this to three people who live in our neighborhood and ask them to sign today.

This small community school caters for a uncoventially high number of children with special needs. Because it is small the children feel safe and secure and their educational achievements grow extroadinarily well. Keep it open for this kids.

My granddaughter attends this school and my grandson is due to start in September! The level of teaching there is second to none ! My granddaughter who has struggled in the past to settle in large environments loves her school and has come on leaps and bounds.

I have nothing but amazing memories from 7 years at Great Creaton and I am heartbroken to see its possible closure. Small village schools are so important and make for a more personal learning environment, where a teacher can give every pupil the attention they need. Keep Creaton school open!

When did it become a reason to close a school because it was 'too small' . If the majority of schools had 'smaller' class sizes children would come out better educated. Surely we shud work towards 'smaller' not penalise it

This school should remain open because I have learned maths, English, topic, RE, science, ICT. Also I run a Coding Club there. I really don't want the school to close as all of my favourite teachers will get different jobs. I am Year 6!

Closing village schools is not the answer to the chronic under investment in rural communities. To take away a school is to close the heart of the community. There also should be protection for the dedicated members of staff who go above and beyond to support the school.
