To the honorable Mayor Alex Edelman,

We the residents of the Village of Lawrence are presenting this petition to respectfully request your consideration in the matter of the future plans for the Rock Hall Road Water Treatment Facility. We have heard speculation of plans to build a hotel or a country club at this site. We would be strongly opposed to these options as they would increase traffic and noise, affect the safety and quality of life of the beautiful neighborhood we live in. Conversely, we would be in favor of a park or open nature area for our children and for community respite, or single family housing to fit the residential makeup of our area. We thank you for your consideration in this matter.
