Don't exclude people, don't turn the lake into a private country club, let everyone use it.

If the boats stay out of the no-wake zone, they can't do nearly as much damage in a summer as a single winter storm will. This will not only hinder enjoyment of the lake, it won't solve the problem that the snowbirds are seeing either.

I want to protect my investment on Lake Sutherland and am AGAINST the ban on all ballast boats! Keep Lake Sutherland a lake where recreational boating is accepted!

I am against banning ballast boats on Lake Sutherland! This is and has been “the recreational lake” for our area.

We had property at the lake for years up until 6 years ago. Now we are closing on a piece of property out there in a week. I believe it all can be worked out with extra buoys, a little more distancing from shore, signage & patrolling and talking it out constructively with all groups without an outright ban. A ban will begin a slippery slope of more bans and the minority ruling over all others. The lake can be enjoyed in many ways by all people not just a select few.

Rowing and paddling is dangerous as winds pick up often and strain the boater. This would endanger boaters lives with no emergency access to rescue services on the lake.

All homes need repairs due to elements and time damage. The lake homes are no exception! If you purchase a home on a PUBLIC lake you purchase knowing there will be additional damage from boats. This should not go through just because people don’t want to maintain their homes!!

I grew up enjoying wake sports on this lake. It would be devastating to take that opportunity away from youth today. Please do not ban the use of wake boats on lake Sutherland.

We have a property we would not want ruined by Wake boats! We do not believe they are causing any problems at all. For the most part people are respectful with them. I know we are! It would ruin so much of what people love to do! The boats when balast is in are only going 8-10 miles an hour. I find that regular boats go alot faster and come around more often with waves than wake boats.

Please do not restrict access or activities. We already live next to the ONP which has many. Let out small community self regulate.
