Taking wake boats off lake Southerland is horrible idea. Not only will it prevent family’s from spending quality free time on that lake but it would deminism all property values on the lake substantially. Wake surfing is the largest family water sport In the world.
When are the senior citizens that proposed this bill are no longer the lake , their concerns will be completely irrelevant .
Those people should seek assisted living homes not a water sports environment.

Stop trying to take over controlling our local family time. Our local children, grandchildren and adults need these activities to keep them fit and enjoy their family time with friends with our community.

Been going to the lake since I was a kid. Sad to see people wanting to change it now so kids these days won’t get the lake experience we did growing up.

Seriously if they don't like it then I'm sure they can sell their place a find one around lake crescent. To think people want to change this is ridiculous.

Nice to see California residents trying to ruin Washington state. This is the only lake that you can jetski on within 50 miles. Let alone boating at this lake is a must. There’s are dozens of places you can stay where it’s quieter. You wanna take out another thing that brings joy to kids (teens and adults) summer round?

My family has been on the lake for 60 years. We have not seen any of the alleged damages reported by some of our neighbors. There is an area of erosion on our shoreline but the erosion has remained the same for the last 30 years. The line of erosion coincidentally begins where the waterline rises in the wintertime. Last winter was particularly rough. Residents shared videos of massive waves beating the shore. My friend's boat lift was torn from the north shore. Trees blown down everywhere. Did this send things to a tipping point? The lake was also unusually busy this summer, thanks COVID. No one had work. However, as an avid boating family and friendly neighbors, we are eagerly looking to make changes and compromises that can make the lake more enjoyable for others who see the wake boats as a problem. Older generations recalled great times being towed behind ski boats, keep the lake open for all generations to enjoy!
