This is a petition to urge uni to bring back the econ 224 course. Some of us who are doing an econ minor need this course as it is one of the 2 courses(along with ECON-215) to double count for core requirements as well as the econ minor requirements. A large number of students who missed out on the chance of taking the the ECON-215 and took other ARIC courses to fulfill their core (Arab World) requirements, currently find themselves without the option to complete their minor requirements unless the take additional courses, potentially delaying their graduation. Bringing back ECON-224, which double counts as world studies as well as towards the ECON MINOR, will help complete a 4-year effort for countless students.
