The administration finally caved and ECON-224 is back on the schedule. They realized they could not ignore 398 of us fighting for our degrees, but stay alert to ensure they actually follow through on this promise.

This is a petition to urge uni to bring back the econ 224 course. Some of us who are doing an econ minor need this course as it is one of the 2 courses(along with ECON-215) to double count for core requirements as well as the econ minor requirements. A large number of students who missed out on the chance of taking the the ECON-215 and took other ARIC courses to fulfill their core (Arab World) requirements, currently find themselves without the option to complete their minor requirements unless the take additional courses, potentially delaying their graduation. Bringing back ECON-224, which double counts as world studies as well as towards the ECON MINOR, will help complete a 4-year effort for countless students.

The administration is still giving us the runaround while we scramble to meet our degree requirements. I am tired of these bureaucrats ignoring the fact that their scheduling failures are directly delaying our graduation.

I really need econ 224 to graduate on time this is so frustrating
If they dont offer this then I literally have to stay until fall. super annoying
