I do hope the track Isn’t taken over, from my knowledge it can already function as a pickle ball court, and many exist across the country already

Make more sense to create a space for all, then for just one activity. Roller Derby is the only sport that dosen't require a ball, but definitely concrete cement.

Skating rinks are a one of a kind community space that promotes diversity and fosters individuality. These spaces are becoming far fewer as gentrification takes hold to convert these important neighborhood and community spaces into a new place for the newest fad sport. By converting this skating space into a pickleball court, you are removing history, you are removing community, and you are removing culture. Please think twice before adding negative pressure to the growing sport of roller derby by making them homeless.

Roller derby is a fun sport and should have more recognition. Pickleball is a trend. Renovate the court but don't put in static structures that make it impossible to use for the athletes who have been using it for years.

Current space can accommodate pickleball AND derby, don’t destroy a functional multi-use rink to make it more specialized and exclusive!
