​Save our derby track! Petition to convert approved pickleball courts into a shared-use space​

This is so important to the derby team, please keep the rink!

Stop taking away roller rinks; there are so few left, and the community will only lose out on so many more options.

Roller derby is a beloved sport that encourages teamwork, resilience, inclusivity, and community, and it belongs in our spaces. There is no reason not to make a multi-purpose space -- we should be maximizing the number of people and sports utilizing our athletic spaces, not excluding huge swathes of people for the benefit of one sport.

A multi use space benefits a much wider community. Turning this space into a pickleball only space would negatively impact the local roller derby team AND the community at large

The amount of people who can use the space in roller derby compared to pickleball is far more. Roller derby brings in more people to spectate/participate.... this space needs to be available to the Roller derby community

Please let SCRD keep their court. Please no pickleball

Support local womens sports!

KEEP SHARED SPACES!!! No one needs more pickleball-only space! It's exclusionary, unnecessary, and divisive.

This event brings so much fun to the community. Hoping there’s another alternative for your Pickleball location and that she will keep this location for roller Derby.

Shared spaces and multi-purspose venues are important for the community. Taking multi-purpose venue away and turning them into single purpose pickleball is absurd and displaced the majority of the community.

Please don’t close this rink. It’s places like this that make city life and city culture exciting!!

The few skate locations that exist are such gems and already so actively used! Would be such a shame to see it removed for a game that can be played in so many other spaces!

Less pickleball, more derby!

Times are hard, don’t dismantle an already existing community that support folks of marginalized identities.

Please help save the rink for our long standing skating community. They deserve to have a place to play.

Please save the hockey rink and make this a shared use space for hockey, roller derby and pickleball. There aren’t many other options like this for roller derby and this is a great location. A shared use space makes much more sense and works for everyone.
