Help us Save our Children's Centres - Our Voice Matters

There should be more help for these young families.... not having constant cut backs with the support . These Centres are people's life lines...... !!

It is not right to choose to keep a hub for the 'Best Start in life' at a nursery school and de-register the site where a fantastic private nursery is established! Parents rely in these facilities when in full time employment, Barney Bears West Ham has recently recently a 'good' Ofsted and Newham Council should be proud of these nurseries, not closing the centres they use. SAVE BARNEY BEARS WEST HAM - relocate the Canning Town & Custom House hub to grassroots!

Barney bears at West Ham is an excellent nursery. My son has benefitted so much from attending. The staff are passionate about children and work so hard. I would be a disaster if it were to close! Hey would the council wish to lose all important rent? The children centre has been very useful and we have attended the triple p programme and chatterbox session.

Both my children attended the nursery at Barney bears nursery in grassroots centre. I don't want my son to lose out as he as good relationship with all the staff members at grassroots. It's a amazing place where children can go to nursery or children centre and make new relationships ans learn and play and it's giving back a lot to the community.

I can't believe that people can be so short sighted & cut essential services, children are our future.

Children's centres and early years nurseries are a hugh support for family's with young children,also children benefit greatly by attending these,learning through play and developing, making friends and having fun..this is all important. To close grassroots and other children's centres in newham would have a massive affect on the local community...CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE...save barney bears nursery westham and grassroots centre.

The children centres are crucial to a child's development in early years. This is where, not only do our children develop but parents get the support and education they need to nurture the children. Hence the children centres should not be closed. I especially support the Barney Bears nursery (situated within the Grassroots Centre) where my 2.5 year goes and his development has been excellent.

Keep Barney Bears open! Pls!

Grass roots has got to be one of, if not the best children's centre in newham. My child attends barney bears nursery and loves it. Keep the centre as it is!!

I am a single mother with a 5 month old baby, with no family support, the Children's Centres are a God send! Not only do I get the support and advice I need from other mothers but also from the professional staff. The children's centres also offer opportunities for me to learn and to play with my baby. Without the Children's Centres I really don't know what I would do. Please do not shut down the centres, both parents and children need them!

I dnt feel this is right. As it has the highest population (or one of the highest).. u should leave it open!! After all its the children! Y cut on them!

We need children centres they help the children and it's a good place for children to go to as well as going nursery

My childminder takes my son to the children's centre and he's learnt to interact with other children and is so happy when she takes him there. Please don't close them big mistake. You want parents to work yet your making it hard for us. Then when we go on the dole you complain we have to work.

My baby loves coming to nursery and seeing all his friends. Closing children centres means your closing our barney bears nursery!!!

Keep the Children Centres Open.
