It's disgusting to close the nurseries within the centre's uprooting these kids at such a crucial stage of their lives.

The proposed plans will no doubt affect the nursery that our child has come to love and thrive in. How can such actions be justified.? Has the effects of closing the centre really being considered? It will impact on countless family lives children and staff. Surely this needs to be thought over.

The children centres are at the heart of the early years, this is where our children can develop, parents can get the support and education they need to nature their own children. Grassroots Children Centre is the hub of the local surrounding community. The nursery within the centre is owned directly by myself and Sarah Hawkins, we have worked so hard to build up a nursery provision within Grassroots and have a overwhelming demand to provide childcare, now Newham want to take that away from us and use the building which was built for the community by the community for the music group Ecam!! Why close something that works!! Why cant we work with Ecam, like we do with the children centres. Also this has had a very low profile, why??? the consultation is near to the end and I have only found out on Friday that this could also effect the tenants in the Grassroots Centre!! Shocking....

Pls save the north woolwich centre because it's one out of a million to help the community, it's help parents and carers from all nations with their children, we don't have no where else to go near by that can help the community in all areas.

Please do not close children centre. Abbey lane children centre's services are good. There is enough space to play for children.

Childrens centres in newham are full to bursting on some sessions, with the risk of centres closing loads of familys will not be able to attend.
The nutrition advise you get is excellent and the staff know so much and give brilliant advise.

I sign the petitions in support of those petitioning against children centres being close as we need more areas for children and teenagers to go and interact with each other positively.
