I was looking at the screen and realized how far this has traveled and honestly it feels like the whole town is actually speaking up at once which is just wild to me. It keeps hitting me in waves thinking about the kids who use this place and how crazy it is that we are even fighting this but seeing the energy out there gives me so much hope (and maybe a little bit of anxiety but mostly hope).

This facility is invaluable to our community. As a new mum I was looking forward to accessing services. I expect to be able to access services within a reasonable distance to where I live. Maltby is not a reasonable distance to access invaluable early years support, especially if you have to use public transport.
Dinnington Childrens centre is a lifeline to parent in an already deprived town, to close it will cause mant families to have no other place to turn for support close to home, I am a grand mother raising 4 grandchildren on my own my 2year old grandaon attends the children centre this has helped him mix with other children and grow in confidence to take that away would upset hos world and a lot of other childrens and parent alike. It is totally wrong to take awy something that is aiding a community.
The nearest centre will be over 8 miles away, with Dinnington having a large community the childrens centre should stay open! I thought part of the idea of them was to help disadvantaged & unstable families! My daughter will be on nursery by the time this plan is carried out, but I still feel very strongly about this & think it's a absolute joke

If this centre closes it will be a travesty.
Dinnington NEEDS the Children's centre, it's loss will cause irrepairable damage to our community.
Once again, Dinnington gets the brunt of budget cuts. Yet thry want us to be treated as a town when it suits so they can build more social housing and take away our greenbelt. One or the other RMBC...if we are a town, stop taking away our valuable resources!

Closure of this centre would be a moral and social disaster. These centres save families and save lives. They work. The staff are amazing. Please, how will the social services and other authorities pick up the pieces?
