Take the sticks out of your butts, and mind your own business. Why would you even consider a complain from someone who's not even a resident???

Hi, I am from Mount Wolf, PA. I am a single mom with a daughter. I also have chickens, ducks a turkey and a sheep. My daughter is active in 4-H and I totally understand the importance of pets no matter the type of animal.

With all the issues you see with our food and general health a self-sustaining healthier lifestyle may be the greatest gift we can give our children.

I definitely think these people have the acreage to have small animals and chickens. They are also using them to teach their children responsibility, which I think is fantastic. It's time to get with the times. Change the ordinance and leave them be.

This family is giving their children an experience that will stay with them forever, all while teaching them the values of hard work, caring for animals and the environment, and an appreciation of how their past generations lived. Why in the world would you want to take that away from them? You should be supportive of such a worthwhile endeavor. Cheers to them for what they are doing for their family!!

Since when does the government control our property that we pay taxes on? Since when do they have the right to tell us who is or is not a companion? Since when can they control how we survive?! Hopefully Carroll Twp does the right thing.

They did this to me had to get rid of my chickens I had for 5 years. My kids were devastated. There is farm land all around me and we cant have chickens. The city of pittsburgh is aloud to have chickens and alot of other townships are y cant we. They are healthier than store bought and saves families money and time.

this Family obviously takes very good care of their animals. I’m with them, they are pets. I have chickens. They are my girls, they are pets. I’ve also had goats, and they too were pets. This family bought this home because it had two acres and was out in the country next to a farm. They should be able to have these pets. I could see going after them if they neglected the animals, but they don’t. Leave this family alone. Give them the okay to have their pets for their kids.
