As long as they are responsible pet owners, and they keep up with the property, they should be allowed to keep their animals.

My family along with other neighbors on wisebecker lane have always had farm animals. As long as their chickens & goats are cared for properly there shldnt be any problem with this family raising farm animals.

This is so sad that this is the kind of things that they are really worried about!!! How about focusing on worrying about removing all drug dealers or sexual predators ect. than trying to remove some children's poor little animals!

I also live in Carroll township.. this is completely redictulas.. I drive by there regularly.. those animals are penned in and are completely harmless.. way too much government involvement around here.. unless these animals escape and start biting people. Then it's nobody's bussiness what kind of pets or animals people have as long as they are well taken care of.. the same piece of property can have 20 dogs and cats, but not chickens and goats.. what a joke

I find it ridiculous to harass a family who wants to do something that has been happening forever, let them have their chickens!

Really, like the township has nothing better to do? They are chickens. Wild animals make more noise. Nothing like trying to stop a family experiencing the joy of finding fresh eggs in the am on top of the experience of raising and responsibilities the children receive.

Chickens are a great addition for families. They provide food, bug control, companionship, and teach children responsibility. As someone with backyard chickens myself, I truly never imagined the benefits they would provide me. My neighbors all enjoy them immensely as well and look forward to seeing them as they walk by our house. Please consider removing your ban so families and neighborhoods in your community can enjoy these benefits as well. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I would think there are way more important issues to need attention; leave this family alone to do as they wish!
