It is imperative that yellow buses remain to serve ALL the children in our district. I do not currently have any children in private schools, but I recognize the value of this service not only because the law requires it, but because eliminating the buses could make our community less attractive to home buyers if they think their families will not have the same options and benefits as families in neighboring communities. The savings aren't worth the potential costs and risks, not just in terms of finances, but in terms of safety and quality of life for ALL children and families in our community.

My concern is for the health and safety of my child who lives on Saxon Dr. He would have to cross an entrance ramp to 95 with out a cross walk where cars routinely speed north of 50 mph. Alterntively they could hug emergency lane for 1/2 mile on Mamaroeck Avenue where a jigger was struck just last year. This proposition puts at risk the safety of all children on Saxon Dr not to mention the countless others that have similar risks up in the Heights
