I do not agree with having this converted to a soccer field meant for one teams use! I do not think new west soccer would benefit either as I'm sure it's usage would be significantly restricted to the one teams benefits! A big no here!!

Please keep the stadium for Community Sports and Events. This is by far the nicest baseball diamond in the lower mainland and it is a beautiful park filled with other community facilities (Arena, Arenex, Water Park, Rose Garden, Theatre etc)

Don't change such a beautiful landmark, there is so much history here. I was fortunate enough to attended several of my nephew games this season and it was amazing to watch the games. As the game went on, the sun went down and then the lights came on. What a game ... What a night.... I am looking forward to many more nights watching baseball at the Stadium. I am not totally against the changes, but am concerned on the costs involved for all the changes required. It would seem like a lot less work to build a place for Soccer Only then to revamp such an amazing diamond.

I am supposed to play there next year. You are going to relocate my team to another city because there will be nowhere else for us to play in this short period of timem Thanks New Westminster. Glad I represented you.NOT
Little League baseball is huge to the kids an families in New West. Facilities for this sport are limited enough as it is whereas soccer facilities are everywhere. I like soccer too but this is taking from Peter to pay Paul. Let's get things right and leave baseball alone. Thank you for you consideration

Rebuild Swangard, do not pull the rug out under a strong community baseball program that has proven results. This is a business gamble for City Hall.

I don't believe a private company should be able to take over a public facility.

The best baseball diamond in the lower mainland should be something New Westminster is proud of, not hand it over for profit.

I have enjoyed watching my grandson develope into a fine baseball player over many years. I remember years ago, we would go to the Stadium and watch the older boys & young men playing baseball. He looked up to me and said, Nana one day that will be me on the field. He had his first year there this past season, it sadden me not be able to attend games as I had just moved out of town. Now that I am settled I have been looking forward to the next season so I can come and visit and watch him play. Please do not take the Stadium away from the children and young adults of hte community. A new location is just not the same - many children dream of they day they get to play in the stadium and under the lights.
