Surely the Whitecaps can find some other place to fit their team without uprooting New West Baseball.

Not enough green space as it is in this community without giving a large chunk of it away to a for-profit endevour. We also do not need more traffic and parking problems clogging up the Queens Park area. 3500 people coming and going from this normally quiet area would be problematic..

I am a parent, coach, and umpire in New West. My son still plays at Queens park Stadium and would like to as a young adult. He and I have longed for the opportunity to play in the Stadium and now the City is trying to take a public community park away from us to GIVE to a corporation is utterly wrong!!!! We need to save OUR Stadium!!!

To know where we should be going it is important to see where we have been. Heritage is important.

Queens Park Stadium is a beautiful baseball park with a long heritage of use as a baseball park. The existing facility is used for many other purposes, including community events such as the annual May Day celebration. The facility is well suited to its current uses, but the community is being asked to accept major but ill defined changes to the facility on short notice. I would expect years of deliberations for a project of the sort being proposed, but only a few weeks have been available to consider the proposal.

I live right besdie the aprk where many people park for the off leash area. On most nights of the week, I larady cant park in front of my own home beacuse of all the dog walkers. This raises a serious concern as this larger stadium will cause mor eparking hassles. We live in Queens PArk, a beautiful, historic landmark in the developement of Canada. i would hate for us to become like the area around the PNE.

I would like Queens Park to remain the same. I prefer my taxes to go towards a new high school.

I fully support the retention of Queen's Park Stadium for both baseball and soccer. Please resist the temptation to alter this historic stadium an alienate the efforts of New Westminster baseball to grow the game.

It`s sad what the city is trying to do to a little league.

The fact that council is seriously considering this is a disgrace. I will actively oppose any council member who votes in favor of it.

The park is for the pubic not for a business to take over it. Whitecaps should be using private land for their field not a park tax payers fund.

I played baseball in the city as a kid. The city's population is sadly growing more than it should so why should we get rid of amenities like this or have less seating. Maintain this old stadium and make the city the beautiful historic gem it was when I was younger. People in the city pay high taxes to have RS1 nice homes and yards and the parks we had for a reason.
