City Hall needs to maintain the valuable assets that the baseball Stadium represents and that Queen's Park represents as a natural landscape.

This effects the whole premiere ball league forcing a team out because now their field is gone .

Queen's Park is not a good site for a corporate stadium. It should be built on a commercial site.

This field should be used as it was intended... for the Children to play sport such as baseball on. We cherish the community events/traditions that are also held at the stadium such as May Day and Family movie nights. I grew up in New Westminster and have attended many May Days there and other Family events and I would love my children and other children enjoy the same.

I am completely against the whitecaps soccer proposal for QueensPark baseball stadium. It seems like someone is trying to get a sweet deal out of New West.

The modus operandi at play here is profoundly contrary to the way New Westminster normally makes decisions. There seems to be a mad rush to get this project approved despite a total absence of information relating to planning and costs. In addition, I would like to add my voice to the groundswell of opposition to this ill-conceived and ill-communicated initiative. The mayor and city council members must not bow to whatever pressures are at work here. The citizens of New Westminster are speaking loudly and they must be heard.

We do NOT support the proposal for the changes to Queens Park! Keep it's beauty and charm for everyone to enjoy!

This is a youth and community venue and need not be taken over exclusively for a corporate run socccer team. New Westminster residents taxes have built, maintained this community venue. Now Whitecaps want New Westminster residents to pay for retrofitting their community resource to accommodate the exclusive use of a corporate funded sports team. My sons have all played baseball and soccer there. It is located beside a residential area that will be adversely affected by increased traffic, lights and noise.

Time Line, Budget, traffic are the big issues for the proposal. New Westminster City should use tax payers money wiser.

Too many soccerfields already in the lower mainland. Keep this one for baseball
