Momma Mac will always be the one teacher I will never forget. She helped with my senior year like no other teacher has, and I will always, always, always be greatful. I love you Momma Mac and I hope you kick this school into shape.

Ms. Mac is one of the most memorable teachers I've ever had. I've seen her connect to some very difficult kids in my time at AHS, often when no one else could. Her direct style is her greatest gift as an educator. She's dedicated, passionate and the fact that a petition is needed to inform the administration of this simply tells me that they are not paying close enough attention.

Ms. Mac has always been popular among students for not ever holding back and "telling it how it is". What many people don't know however, is her unmeasurable sense of compassion and kindheartedness to all students. She's a fantastic educator, and any good educator knows that curriculum isn't the most important part of the job. I've seen Ms. Mac go above and beyond to help students in need and give them the help they deserve, even when it goes beyond her job description. There had been numerous occasions when my autistic brother, when he was still attending Auburn High in the life skills program, was unable to participate in her class because of an absence of an Aide, or xyz reason. Ms. Mac always made an effort to find a way for him to be able to participate; nothing she was ever asked to do, but she did because she truly cares about the education of any student who sets foot in her classroom.

Signing to support an amazing teacher and an amazing human being. I graduated in 2004 and a lot of memories of my days in high school have faded. However, Ms. Mac is one of a handful of teachers who is impossible to forget!!! She is the type of person that you share stories about even a decade later. Her dedication to her students is incomparable. I am very fortunate to know her and all the good she has done for so many!
