Ms. Mac is a teacher at Auburn High School who has touched many lives in her time as a teacher. Her attitude of not sugar coating a thing and teaching students about the real world has saved many of lives of students and helped bring them success. She is an amazing teacher and a valuable asset to Auburn High School. But the administration of that school who cares more about funding and impressing their bosses doesn't think so and her job is in jeopardy because of that. She shouldn't lose her job for because of that.

The school administration remains silent despite the stories you have all been sharing in the comments here. Send an email to the school board today demanding they keep Ms. Mac in the classroom. Tell them directly that her honesty is exactly what this student body needs.

Ms. Mac was one of my favorite and certainly one of the most influential teachers I've ever had. Letting go of Ms. Mac because she is honest and upfront with kids about the real world, or because she doesn't put up with anyone's disrespectful attitude would be a huge mistake.
Ms.Mac was one of 3 teachers that ever actually taught me anything. I was pretty much a lost cause and most teachers didn't care much for me but she gave my a chance, challenged me and helped me graduate. Save Ms.Mac
I've always struggled with reading comprehension and she is the only teacher that actually taught how to read correctly. She is a beautiful person inside and out and she's an inspiration to all of us. Room 2086 will never be the same without her contagious laughter! #ishgabagadaha
Ms. Mac is the one who pushed me farther than I knew I could go. She is one of the biggest reasons I finally moved into honors classes and stepped up my game. Shame on Auburn for trying to get rid of her. A true loss to the community and school system if she's gone.

Ms.Mac is one of the most positive and go lucky teachers that is at Auburn Public Hgihschool. I personally have never had her as a student but even still she knows my name and still treats me like one of her own students. She is someone i know i can always turn to if needed. If she looses her job over some little girls complaining about how they cant handle her truthfulness, and honesty then im sorry but thats pathetic.

I'm a graduate of 09 I had Mrs. Mac the thing I loved and respected about her was her attitude she never beat around the bush and honestly I wish every teacher was like her please don't mistake her honesty for her love because she has the sweetest heart
