I may not know Mrs. Phillips. But I know that if there are these many signatures that have signed this petition, She has a lot of people who really care for her and love her as a teacher. And I'm certain she loves being their teacher just as much as they love being her students. If there is anything we need, we need more GOOD teachers. Not less.

I loved Mrs.Phillips she was one of the nicest and most interstsing teachers I have had at north. She told us about her personal life outside of teaching and connected to all her students she deserves to stay way more than most of the teachers at north!

I never had Mrs. Phillips as a teacher and I don't know her very well but this gives me an unique unbiased view of this situation. From what I heard Mrs. Posey decided on firing Mrs. Phillip because they don't agree on something or don't get along with each other. I think this sets a bad example for the students because it is almost guaranteed that they will have to work with someone they don't like and is this the message that Mrs. Posey would like to send? That if you don't like one of your coworkers then get them fired? Also Mrs. Phillips isn't being hired to agree with Mrs. Posey she is being hired to teach and from what I am seeing Mrs. Phillips is by no means a bad teacher in fact she seem to be a rather good one judging from the responses but perhaps Mrs. Posey would like to disagree. If so the question Mrs. Posey would have to ask herself is whether she, who has been here for a year, is a better judge of Mrs. Phillip's competence in teaching or the students who have actually been taught by Mrs. Phillip, some for multiple years. I understand that Mrs. Posey might have been very passionate about whatever Mrs. Phillip disagreed with her on but a passion driven decision can be a rash decision so I ask Mrs. Posey to use logic instead to evaluate whether this is the best course of action. I personally cannot see why Mrs. Posey as a professional can't put this behind and continue to work with Mrs. Phillip.

If she is making a difference in the lives of others than getting rid of her is a rash mistake

Mrs. Phillips and I were never close, but I always felt comfortable and cared for when I was in her class. She is a good person and I believe she should stay.

I never had the chance to have her in class but I have worked with her with numerous clubs and classes over the years. Mrs. Phillips has helped me tremendously in my entrepreneurship class to get connections and build relationships with local animal rights organizations. She is not only a helpful resource in the school, but she is also an actively involved person in the community.

Mrs. Phillips is kind, caring, concerned, and dedicated. The NNHS students deserve to keep her in their court.

If the student body is willing to create a petition to save one of their teachers, she's clearly doing something right

My daughter has had the pleasure of having Mrs. Phillips as a teacher for several classes. Mrs. Phillips has made my child feel extremely happy and comfortable at school, she has presented the curriculum in fun and interesting ways. My daughter has learned so much and looked forward to all the assignments, projects and class periods. Mrs. Phillips goes out of her way to build a trusting and caring bond with her students, my child was so devastated to hear the news and so was I. The job of a teacher is to educate, but the job of an EXCELLENT teacher is to educate, support, and genuinely care for each and every one of her students. Mrs. Phillips is the essence of a truly EXCELLENT teacher and I could not be happier as a parent to leave my child in her hands everyday! Please keep her where she truly belongs, as an NNHS huskie!!

She introduced me to her cat and let me play with the bunny and rats and I didn't even have her as a teacher! She is so nice and deserves to stay!

I had Mrs. Phillips last year for animal companion and it quickly became one of my favorite classes. You won't find any teacher as passionate about both what she teaches and the students she teaches it to. By losing her NNHS is losing a key figure in its identity.
