Powers that be need to stop meddling in such matters. We have been plundered enough - culturally, & financially - by the powers that be. We are still rocking from the Taxila museum theft of artifacts, and now this!! Leave our historic buildings alone!

We have too few institutions safeguarding, documenting, explaining our heritage to generations of Pakistanis. We should be actively creating more rather than cutting down what little we have.
