We urge and wish to retain this historical building of excellent Architecture and at the same time a good restored building having international repute with multifacet functions. Mohatta palace should remain as a museum. It is one cultural space that has been visited by students, art lovers and many many visitors. It does not have the space to be a college. A heritage building must be maintained well, as being done now by the trustees of the palace .

My great grandfather Agha Ahmad Husain built this gorgeous palace which has since been a coveted Karachi landmark. As a museum it’s past glory was revitalized and allowed the people of karachi to enjoy its splendor. Turning it into any thing other than a space that celebrates the art and culture of Pakistan would be a sheer disservice to this iconic palace and the people of Karachi.

It is a protected heritage building. Lets not change it. Why not open a girls college somewhere else? I'm sure the Sindh Govt will have ample land once the SCP orders are implemented.

It was Fatima Jinnah house, she never willed it became a College. She must be better remembered as the creator of Mohatta Museum, which is not the case presently rather than others get the credit.
