Mohstta palace is a historical place , it is a cultural heritage of Sindh , so it must be preserved as national historical place. Remember that Sindh is not a occupied territory , it is a unit of Pakistan , so be careful in making decisions....... .

Buildings of historical and cultural significance should not be repurposed. A college would have classrooms, toilets, cafeteria, blackboards, switches and electrical wiring, daily traffic, billboards, signboards, posters. There would be no historical appreciation in the repurposing, and another iconic building would be lost to the public.

Mohatta Palace should always remain a place to project culture.
At the same time it must not be used for holding wedding functions.

Visiting Mohatta Palace was the highlight of my last visit to Karachi in 2017. It was recommended to me by an Expat and I was amazed I had never heard of this place. It is a beautiful dwelling, steeped in history especially because of Fatima Ali Jinnah. I found it to be a haven of tranquility in the busy metropolis. Please protect this hidden gem of Karachi and Pakistan.
